Squash, wild rice, and apple soup


This recipe is from The New Whole Grains Cookbook by Robin Asbell. It is a wonderful soup for a cold, rainy night like the one we had several weeks ago when I made this soup. I used the lazy girl shortcut of canned pureed butternut squash and it was still excellent.

Wow, the arrangement of food is so nice. Color coordination, very nice. The green beans accent the flowers in the vase. Cool!
